If you have never heard Santana I highly recommend then.  The band is named after it lead guitarist Carlo Santana.  The band are actually Spanish and a number of their songs are Sung in Spanish or have Spanish names.

Although they still do the odd live consort, they have stopped recording new stuff.  They have been around since the 60s and where biggest in the 70s, with their most famous album called 'Abraxus.'  Their most famous songs include: Sampa Pa Ti,
Oya Com Va
